Sunshine Support are on a mission to gain equity within education, health and care for children and young people with special educational needs – and their families – through accessible education, support and advocacy for parents, carers and professionals.
Growing Hope:
Growing Hope provides free therapy for children and young people with additional needs. Additional needs are wide ranging and could include a physical disability, a cognitive disability, a mental health problem or undiagnosed need that impacts participation in everyday activities. They aim to grow hope for children, hope for families, and hope in Jesus. Growing Hope is motivated by the Christian faith and runs clinics in partnership with local churches. but their services are open to everyone of any faith background.
The National Autistic Society:
The National Autistic Society's mission is to transform lives by providing support, information and practical advice for more than 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK, as well as their three million family members and carers; and to change attitudes by improving public understanding of autism and helping businesses, local authorities and government to provide more autism-friendly spaces, deliver better services and improve laws.
ASI Wise Sensory Project:
ASI Wise is the only UK and Ireland provider of internationally accredited learning about Ayres’ Sensory Integration. As an ICEASI member, they offer excellence in education in Ayres’ SI via their two modular programmes. Their webinars and workshops provide a wide range of learning opportunities for anyone supporting people with sensory integration and processing difficulties.
Sensory Integration Education:
As a not-for-profit organisation, Sensory Integration Education have pioneered world-class training in sensory integration and processing for professionals for over 30 years. They deliver the world's only UK university-accredited MSc in Advancing Practice Sensory Integration - the pathway to practise sensory integration.
ADHD UK:
ADHD UK was founded in 2020 with a mission to help those affected by ADHD – either those that have the condition or people close to them: family, friends, employers, and co-workers. They aim to help people navigate their life with ADHD, and they want to reduce the stigma that some attach to those with ADHD, build awareness, and undertake or fund research that will have a meaningful positive impact on those with ADHD.
Tribe Around The Table:
A Facebook community run by an Occupational Therapist and autistic mother of two autistic children. She is passionate about connecting, equipping and empowering the local communities and parents of autistic children.
