Empowering parents and carers of sensory children
When your child dysregulates, half the battle is managing your own competing feelings: embarrassment, fear, panic, exhaustion. Empathy might not be your first instinct.
Recognising your own triggers and behaviours to stay calm and provide the best support to your child, is not a skill that comes easily. We're here to help you build it.

"Sensory Parenting for Sensory Children"
The primary resource for Growbaby Sensory Parenting is the book "Sensory Parenting for Sensory Children" by Tanya van Dalen. It forms the basis of our training.
This book is a short and simple guide for those that parent or care for a child with sensory needs, or a sensory processing disorder (SPD).
Its aim is to help parents and carers to reflect on how they manage sensory meltdowns, enabling them to regulate their own emotions to help their child.
